What a pleasure it was to review this site. Right from the get go your hit with the message that this is ‘THE’ place to hang out on the Internet if your a bored teen looking for some safe interaction with your peers. The awesome interactive design was an instant hit with us and even though we perhaps wouldn’t dance to the music that plays when entering the site it was still better than some tunes we’ve heard.

Putting that aside and onto the serious side of the review we looked at what exactly it was that made this site stand out, well for one they’ve kept it simple, by that we don’t mean they haven’t gone to town on the intro, they have, but they also made absolutely sure that what the site is about was labeled on the front of the page. ”

We love simplicity, less is often more and what more do you need than a simple description on the front of your page to compliment the superb design that makes this site stand out as more of a ‘Trendy’ place to hang out, and not just one for computer nerds. Navigation was done by hovering over the individual images, that gently tease the inquisitive beast in all of us to hover over them to see where they take us, by doing that your taken on a journey to places like the ‘Chatroom‘, where instantly your greeted by a friendly and encouraging voice telling you exactly what to expect from the chatroom while carefully laying down the rules.

Unfortunately at the time of this review the chat was temporarily closed so we didn’t get to test it out, but we will, and when we do, you can be sure we’ll update this review accordingly. The site has a massive focus on Internet safety and provides a fantastic tutorial set on how to learn all about Internet safety and how to benefit from it to the maximum. Obviously as a group who advocate the need for a safe Internet this place ticked all the boxes for us, and when we got to the i-mentor area we loved the message this site was portraying. It encourages the teenager to become a mentor and help others in education of safety on the Internet.

Quite frankly we could rave on about this site and the messages it sends out forever and a day but we won’t, we simply invite you to go over and see for yourself.

Part of the i-Safe group who are one of the leaders in Internet education on safety we had little concern over the legitimacy of the site and by simply following the links to their Main Site you could get an even better idea of what this organization is all about and that’s spreading the word on the need for Internet safety.
